Dans le cadre de la COP21 on débat à perte de vue du réchauffement du climat, des énergies fossiles, des gaz à effet de serre, de la fonte des glaces, de la montée des eaux, des déplacements de populations, des forêts, des mérites comparés du solaire et de l’éolien, de quotas, de gros sous, tous sujets capitaux pour notre avenir et celui de notre planète. Mais on ne va rien dire, ou presque rien, du phénomène qui est à la source de tous nos problèmes : le nombre d’humains sur cette Terre s’accroît de 240000 individus par jour.
Par JOUR. 160000 décès, 400000 naissances. Autant de bébés à nourrir, vêtir, loger, autant de filles et de garçons à éduquer et à qui offrir des perspectives de vie décentes. Chaque jour c’est une ville nouvelle de la taille de Bordeaux. Chaque année un pays supplémentaire comme l’Allemagne ou l’Egypte. Problème : la planète, elle, ne s’agrandit pas.
Notre logiciel de base est « croissez et multipliez ». C’est celui du vivant. Sa remise en cause est impossible, et d’ailleurs tabou. Mais la pression physique que l’homme exerce sur son environnement est devenue quantitativement intenable. Je cherche l’erreur.

Voilà résumé en quelques phrases toute l’horreur du “politiquement correct” : la régulation des naissances heurte de plein fouet la vision sectaire des religions… et ce n’est pas envisageable ! On en tremble par anticipation. Pensez : s’attaquer aux racines de la foi, quel crime abject !
